Stage 7: The Sepp Jöchler Trail: Darmstädter Hütte - Niederelbehütte

Varied trails and fascinating views of mountains and valleys: The Paznaun High Route is every hiking fan’s dream come true. The long-distance hiking trail is known for its great variety, making it popular with outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world.

From Darmstädter hut to Kartell hut at Kartellspeicher. Follow the signposts along Sepp-Jöchler trail all the way to Seßladjöchli at 2,749 metres above sea level. The first downhill section of the trail to Niederelbe hut is steep and banked. From there, the trail takes you down across scree and smaller snowfields to the hut.
