Tourism Games

The second edition of the Tourism Games by Ischgl will take place on 10 and 11 April 2025 - an exciting three-way competition between young heroes. This event is aimed at up-and-coming talent from tourism companies and tourism schools in Austria, South Tyrol, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg.

The Tourism Games consist of three disciplines: cooking, bartending and marketing. Participants between the ages of 16 and 30 compete against each other in teams of five (2 people in the Cooking category, 2 people in the Marketing category and 1 person in the Bartending category) in order to master predefined tasks in their respective categories. Each team has a team supervisor. A high-calibre panel of experts will evaluate and judge the teams' performances.

In addition, all participants can look forward to a cosy welcome evening on the day before the competition, an exceptional dinner in a gourmet restaurant in Ischgl and an exciting award ceremony with an after-show party!

The Tourism Games by Ischgl offer a great opportunity to challenge motivated employees to a team challenge and promote team building.

Programme
Approximately 3 weeks before the start of the triathlon, all participants will receive the basket to prepare for the competition in their category.

Example: The shopping basket in the Bartending category contains predefined ingredients from which the participants in this category must mix a predefined number of cocktails. The performances are assessed according to various criteria by a high-calibre jury.  

The day before the competition, on 10 April, all teams and team coaches will meet at a cosy welcome evening in the Fire & Ice Restaurant. There, all participants will receive the most important information about the competition schedule for the following day. It will also be announced in which of Ischgl's award-winning restaurants the team will dine the next day. Each participant and the team supervisor of each team also receives a lift ticket - for their own competition, which takes place on the Ischgl Stage on the Idalp or in the gondola of the 3-S Pardatschgratbahn (cooking or marketing category), or if their own competition takes place down in the valley in the Champagner Club (bartending category) and they want to watch and cheer on their team colleagues.

The actual competition day is on 11 April. At 19:00, all participants go to one of Ischgl's gourmet restaurants to have dinner together. From around 22:00, the award ceremony will take place in the Champagner Club, where there will then be an after-show party to round off the eventful days.
