With a total distance of seven kilometres, the night toboggan run in Ischgl is one of the longest toboggan runs of the Austrian Alps. So grab a toboggan and enjoy an action-packed ride!
Where is the starting point of your tobogganing adventure? At 2,320 metres above sea level, right by the mountain station of Silvrettabahn cable car, in the midst of Ischgl’s breathtaking winter landscape. Prepare for seven kilometres and 950 vertical metres of pure tobogganing fun!
The night toboggan run is closed during the day.

Tobogganing nights in Ischgl
Depending on the snow situation, special tobogganing nights take place in Ischgl every Monday and Thursday between mid-December and early April. Don’t miss this special tobogganing experience under starry skies!
The ride up the mountain with Silvrettabahn cable car is a highlight in itself, getting you in the mood for the experience ahead. Spend a fun tobogganing night with your family and friends!
Night tobogganing in a nutshell
Your tobogganing adventure starts with a ride with Silvrettabahn cable car (A1), which is open from 19:00 pm to 20:30 pm. Tobogganing tickets are available at all ticket offices during the usual opening hours. In addition, you can purchase tickets during tobogganing night from 18:45 pm to 20:30 pm at the ticket office of Silvrettabahn cable car.

Family deal: Kids below the age of 17 accompanied by their parents go free on the cable car.
Please note: The ticket price includes a one-way ride with Silvrettabahn A1 cable car. Season tickets purchased in Ischgl also include the cable car ride up to the toboggan run. Ski passes are not valid on tobogganing nights.
If you don’t have your own toboggan, you can rent one at SilvrettaSports at the mountain station of Silvrettabahn cable car. Rental fees are included in the price of the tobogganing ticket. After your ride, you can return the toboggan right at the end of the toboggan run.
4 useful tips
- Warm and waterproof clothing protects you from the rain, snow and cold.
- A helmet provides maximum safety during the ride.
- When riding with small children, have them sit in front of an adult. Do not lie on the toboggan stomach down and head first!
- If possible, avoid stopping during the ride and getting off the toboggan! If you have to stop, move to the side of the toboggan run!
- Wear solid footwear! Tobogganing is not possible with ski boots.
