To be able to fully enjoy your cross-trail adventure, you need the right equipment. Many cross-trail runners use poles. By providing additional balance, they make it easier to climb steeper sections and run downhill. Sporting goods manufacturer LEKI is known for their high-quality poles. See for yourself and rent a set of LEKI poles at one of the participating rental shops in the Paznaun valley!
The Paznaun valley as a top-class cross-trail spot
As cross-trail running is mostly about the uphill part, routes that run near a cable car are particularly popular. Simply hop on the cable car to get back down to the valley without placing additional strain on your joints. This option is also recommended for mountain lovers who have problems hiking downhill.
The starting points of the cross-trail routes in the Paznaun valley are all located near cable car stations or bus stops. This makes it easy for you to start your cross-trail adventure in an environmentally friendly way. Did you know that holders of a Silvretta Card Premium get to use the local cable cars and public transport free of charge?
